Setting up VBQ pricing for a volume discount in Auto-Star

Setting up VBQ pricing for a volume discount in Auto-Star

Please follow the steps below to setup your volume discounted items.
1. Navigate to the product you would like to change.
2. Click the price method drop-down and select price method 9 -VBQ Pricing (VBQ = varies by quantity)

3. Once you select VBQ price method, you will immediately be taken to the newly added VBQ tab. Set the max qty to the maximum quantity of products that can be purchased before the first threshold of discounts. In this case we will make it 1. Make the retail the price for 1.

4. Click add. Then, repeat the process up to the next discount threshold. In this instance, there is only one more discount threshold; when purchasing 2 or more the retail price is adjusted to 2.50. We will leave the max qty at 99999 and change the retail to 2.50. This will cause any number of iceburg lettuce purchased between 2 and 99999 to be sold at 2.50 a piece.

5. Click add again, and exit Product Manager, or move onto the next product.

In the instance that we wanted to offer an even larger discount at a higher quantity, let's say at a quantity of 5, in step 4 we would set the max qty to 4, and repeat step 4 and 5 for the quantity range of 5-99999.
